Quinney Family Reunion Bear Lake Rendezvous Beach
July 9th & 10th 2010

Friday July 9th:

4:00 PM Logan Temple – Session or Baptisms

6:30-8:00 PM Dinner at Firehouse Pizzeria

We will be served a set menu buet of Pizza, Salad, Drinks and Dessert. The Cost is $9 for adults and $6 for Children under 12

7:15-8:00 Family Updates and Introductions.
Even if you are not planning on joining us for dinner, please come for updates on each family and to get the rest of the info on

Saturday July 10th:

8-10:00 AM Golf
Course and Cost to be determined. However we need to make Tee Times so please let us know if you would like to play.

10:00 AM Beach!
Beach information and directions will be provided Friday night at Dinner. Remember your beach supplies, toys, chairs etc.

Lunch will not be provided. Please bring your own lunch, drinks and other snacks that you would like to have with you at the
beach.

5:00 PM Luau!
We will be having a Polynesian Luau on the beach.
Dinner will include:
Teriyaki Beef
Sapasui – Polynesian Chicken & Noodles
Rice
Macaroni Salad
Desert, Drinks
Cost: $15 Adults and $12 for Children under 12

Lake Town Lodge-Sleeps 50

I have found this lodge that sleeps 50 people. Would anyone be interested? It is $1550 a night with a minimum of a 3 night stay? If we can get 50 people it would only be $93 each. Please let us know if you're interested. We would need to book ASAP. We would need a deposit from each person interested of $20 to be used toward your stay the weekend of the reunion. The dates that would be booked are Friday, Saturday & Sunday night, July 9th -12th. Please take a look @ the website. I would really like to book no late than September 26, 2008.

Bear Lake

Here is a great website for Bear Lake. This will give you a rough idea on how much cabins cost if you choose to do so. There are camp grounds that holds up to 80 people. They are $75 dollars a night. It can not be booked until July 30th of 2009 & there is a $10 holding fee. So we will just put that out there so you can all think about what you will want to do. Please feel free to leave comments on this blog. Also, if you have any secrets or suggestions about Bear Lake on where to stay or play, please let us know.

Quinney Reunion

We just had the 2008 Quinney Reunion in Truckee. Jim & Julie did a fabulous job hosting. Everyone had a wonderful time. We rented canoes, played in water, had delicious food, great company and just a very memorable time. We missed everyone that couldn't attend but hope that we will see you in Bear Lake 2010. I will be posting pictures from this weekend as soon as I can. Please feel free to send me your pictures from this weekend so I can add them as well.

The Tucker family will be hosting in 2010. The dates that have been chosen are July 9th & 10th. Since Bear Lake is so popular we opted to have it on an "off" weekend. We hope that everyone will be able to fit this in their schedule since we are giving such advance notice.

Some expressed interest in renting condos in Bear Lake. These do fill up fast, so I will be getting some information on how you can reserve a condo or camp ground. You really will want to do this as soon as it is available to reserve to ensure that you have a spot for your family.

For the 2010 reunion I would really like to start a book/folder that contains information about this generation. Something that can be passed down and added to in the years to come. Please be thinking of stories about family members and submit them to me @ kimberlypeine@gmail.com. I would really like to have something put together for the reunion. Now, I know that it is 2 years away but I would like it to be nice and this way EVERYONE has time to share something. Also, if you have any pictures you would like to submit those are welcome.
